OMG Roofing Products is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of value-added components for the commercial roofing industry. The FastenMaster Division manufactures and markets innovative, premium quality wood-to-wood fasteners that are engineered to enable professional contractors to complete building projects safer, faster, and easier. The Warehouse Manager drives the distribution of OMG products to customers using lean principles focused on continuous improvement. This key position provides comprehensive inventory distribution solutions to internal and external OMG customers. The Warehouse Manager has a deep understanding of our product base and enterprise resource management system, strong people skills, and the desire to work in a hands-on capacity to get orders out the door on time and within quality specifications.   Position Responsibilities * Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees. * Manage multi-million-dollar hard durable goods inventory and a small warehouse team within a modern facility. * Work with Customer Service, Sales, Operations, and Production teams to provide complete solutions to customer problems. * Guarantee efficiency and order-picking accuracy through continuous improvement. * Participate in contract reviews and negotiations with associated service vendors as required.  * Provide logistical management of domestic and international shipping carriers. * Train, coach, and develop Warehouse team in the areas of quality control, problem-solving, and customer relations. * Define metrics for measuring team performance and provide clear communication of metrics to the team. * Support P&L goals for the Warehouse operation. * Maintain inventory control/cycle counting and conduct a year-end physical inventory. * Effectively manage QAD to update and correct data related to deliveries, inventory, product location, shipments delivered, and shipments received. * Maintain warehouse in compliance with OSHA requirements and OMG policy. * Perform other tasks as assigned.   Position Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent. * 5+ years’ warehouse management experience, preferably in manufacturing. * Experience with manufacturing ERP system, QAD preferred. * Efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel. * Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills. * High level of attention to detail and motivation. * Ability to identify issues and generate creative solutions. * Experience developing and executing project plans, communicating changes and progress, and completing projects on time and within budget. * Demonstrated success in building and managing teams. * Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills. * Strong sense of responsibility and ownership. * Positive can-do attitude.   Physical Requirements * Ability to mount/dismount forklift utilizing three points of contact (two hands and one foot). * Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch. * The position requires the ability to regularly stand for long periods of time. * Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds.   Must be able to complete all essential job functions listed in the position responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.  Qualifications Position Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent. * 5+ years’ warehouse management experience, preferably in manufacturing. * Experience with manufacturing ERP system, QAD preferred. * Efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel. * Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills. * High level of attention to detail and motivation. * Ability to identify issues and generate creative solutions. * Experience developing and executing project plans, communicating changes and progress, and completing projects on time and within budget. * Demonstrated success in building and managing teams. * Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills. * Strong sense of responsibility and ownership. * Positive can-do attitude.   Physical Requirements * Ability to mount/dismount forklift utilizing three points of contact (two hands and one foot). * Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch. * The position requires the ability to regularly stand for long periods of time. * Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds.   Must be able to complete all essential job functions listed in the position responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
