POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for supervising all activities in our warehouse facility. Which often involves overseeing team performance, expediting the receiving and shipping of goods, ensuring quality standards are met, and that our facility is efficient and well organized.

To deliver on our promise to customers, you must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, and track shipping times, thus overseeing the fulfillment of millions of product order every year. As such, your position contributes to the successful financial growth of our company by providing professional support to Food Service Solutions Inc.’s operations nationwide.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Ø Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
Ø Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
Ø Ability to operate a forklift effectively
Ø Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Ø Demonstrates leadership and people management skills including the ability to effectively coach and mentor employees at all levels
Ø Ability to drive continuous improvement, provide accurate reporting, and utilize data
Ø Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:

Ø High school diploma or GED
Ø 3+ years of experience in a warehouse lead role managing hourly employees
Ø Functional knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation
Ø Intermediate computer skills in all MS Office applications
Valid forklift license
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Ø Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
Ø Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
Ø Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
Ø Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
Ø Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed
Ø Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, get processes, and shipping
Ø To carry out any other tasks which may be reasonably expected for the promotion and support of our business
Ø Any other such duties as may be determined by your reporting Manager
