Overview:
For over 25 years, G&A Partners has been helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses, take better care of their employees, and enjoy a higher quality of life by providing proven HR solutions and technology. G&A Partners’ client is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to join its team in Vista, CA.
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for keeping the daily operations of the warehouse running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities of this role may fluctuate as the company continues to expand.
In addition to this, it is the responsibility of the Warehouse Manage to work with the Director of Operations and Team Leads to implement new processes and systems to increase company efficiency on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages and trains warehouse personnel; review and oversee that roles and responsibilities of Leads, Warehouse Associates and Supervisor roles are completed on a daily basis and meet the timeframe outlined in SOP/Protocols. Review concerns, delays, priority or complaints with Director of Ops.
  • Maintains a safe, healthy and efficient work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations and communicating concerns to the Director of Operations.
  • Review and resolve warehouse related discrepancies pertaining to orders, PO inquiries, Project Requests and product inventory within a timely manner and provide adequate information for Customer Service Team to relay back to clients.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of client products, packaging and warehouse materials; Needing to have understanding/knowledge of IMS/WMS and keeping accurate documentation. Provide necessary reports for customer service, Director of Ops and clients as needed.
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed on all requests (ie: orders, PO Inquiries, Project Requests) for billing/invoicing and communication as needed for client and Director of Ops
  • Review with Director of Ops staff levels, hours and contract labor to revenue and established KPI’s to include: Inventory accuracy / percentage based on cycle counts needing to be under .5% for a overall 95.5% accuracy, Pick/Pack, Shipping, PO/Receiving, Project.
  • Manage relationships with key warehouse vendors (i.e. Packaging & Materials Suppliers.
  • Work with Director of Ops and Team Leads to establish needed SOP and proceed in creation/implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for warehouse team.
  • Analyze process workflow, employee, contractor, and space requirements/equipment layout; review to implement changes for improvement.
  • Assist Director of Ops/Sales with onboarding of new clients and determine set up/location of warehouse, client related SOP/Procedures for a smooth on-boarding transition.
  • Work with the executive team to make staffing changes, including but not limited to addition, subtraction, reallocation and wage requests of warehouse staff.

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 2+ year(s) management experience with a warehouse environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of software programs such as ShipHero, Slack, Trello, Microsoft Office Suite, and Gmail
