HVAC X Supply

Role: Warehouse Manager | Location: Mississauga | Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

HVAC X Supply is hiring a Warehouse Manager to lead and build the operational backbone of our distribution network.

This is not a maintenance role. It is a systems and scale role.

We are a fast-growing HVAC wholesale distributor with two locations today and a clear trajectory toward national expansion. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse operations while actively building the processes, structure, and standards required to scale across multiple locations.

This role requires leadership, ownership, and the ability to operate in a high-velocity environment where accuracy, speed, and operational discipline directly impact company growth.

If you are looking for a stable, repetitive supervisory role, this is not it. If you want to build a warehouse operation that scales nationally, this is the role.

Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, train, and manage a warehouse team (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, deliveries)
  • Assign daily workloads and ensure efficient task execution across all warehouse functions
  • Set expectations for performance, accuracy, and safety standards
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of warehouse staff
  • Address performance issues and maintain accountability across the team
  • Foster a high-urgency, high-responsibility warehouse culture

Operations & Workflow Ownership

  • Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping
  • Ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment for HVAC contractors
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including delivery coordination
  • Optimize warehouse layout, flow, and efficiency
  • Implement and refine processes to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability
  • Coordinate closely with counter sales and purchasing teams to align inventory flow

Inventory & Systems Management

  • Own inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation
  • Maintain proper organization, labelling, and storage systems
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or overstock conditions
  • Work within ERP systems to ensure data accuracy (orders, transfers, adjustments)
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventory
  • Continuously improve inventory tracking and warehouse control systems

Process Improvement & Scaling

  • Build and document warehouse SOPs (standard operating procedures)
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions
  • Improve efficiency across picking, packing, shipping, and receiving workflows
  • Support expansion planning as new locations are added
  • Help design a warehouse model that can be replicated across Canada

Qualifications & ExperienceRequired

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in warehouse management or supervisory role
  • Experience in distribution, wholesale, logistics, or supply chain operations
  • Strong leadership experience managing warehouse or operations teams
  • Hands-on experience with inventory systems and warehouse workflows
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with high ownership mentality
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred

  • HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical distribution experience
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience scaling warehouse operations or multi-location logistics
  • Valid driver’s licence

Core Competencies

  • Operational ownership and accountability
  • Leadership under pressure
