Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our distribution center, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and personnel management. This is an on-site leadership role requiring a hands-on approach to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Schedule inbound container deliveries based on import documentation. Negotiate rates and manage relationships with transportation vendors. Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reporting. Oversee shipping processes to meet customer requirements. Manage inventory transfers between warehouse and production. Use ERP systems to coordinate order cycles and assign tasks. Lead and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance reviews. Maintain facility operations, including repairs and supply management. Monitor and control expenses to stay within budget. Drive continuous improvement in efficiency and customer service. Complete additional projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field. Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations management experience. Proven experience with safety programs and OSHA compliance. Skills & Abilities Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and leadership skills. Solid math and analytical skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Independent problem-solver with a proactive mindset. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
