Description We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Manager to lead receiving, warehousing, staging, inventory control, and equipment management operations. This role directly supports the field teams across all Charleston-based divisions and ensures accurate, timely, and efficient movement of materials, tools, and equipment. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, strong operational discipline, and the ability to maintain a clean, safe, and well-structured warehouse environment. This position supports multiple divisions operating from the Charleston location, including: Innovative Sight & Sound (Home Automation, Theaters, Audio/Video Integration) Innovative Electric (Electrical Division) Requirements Warehouse Operations & Organization Manage the warehouse in accordance with company policies, operational goals, and safety standards. Oversee receiving, shipping, job staging, and inventory control across all divisions. Maintain warehouse cleanliness, workflow efficiency, and proper product organization. Set up and maintain shelving layouts, labeling, bin systems, and space utilization. Ensure security and proper handling of all equipment, technology, and electrical materials. Inventory & Material Management Track incoming and outgoing products using the company's inventory systems. Reconcile inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate stock counts. Coordinate with GMs, PMs, and field leadership on material needs for upcoming projects. Manage RMAs, warranty items, and communication with manufacturers. Oversee eBay sale items and surplus liquidation. Tools, Equipment & Vehicle Support Manage check-out and check-in procedures for tools, ladders, test equipment, and specialty gear. Track and replace damaged or missing tools; maintain proper documentation. Maintain tool storage systems and ensure technicians have what they need for jobs. Maintain van stock standards and assist with vehicle organization. Oversee vehicle maintenance scheduling, including oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, etc. Maintain documentation for all fleet vehicles, including: Maintenance logs Registration renewals Insurance documents Mileage/usage records Cross-Division Support Responsibilities Coordinate materials and tool resources for both low-voltage and electrical divisions. Prepare job staging for a variety of project types (A/V, automation, security, lighting/shades, prewire, electrical service work, etc.). Communicate proactively with division leadership regarding timelines and material readiness. Communication & Coordination Work closely with team members, suppliers, transport companies, and internal managers. Support PMs and GMs with project planning, job readiness, and material validation. Ensure all materials are correctly labeled, staged, and ready before technicians arrive. Safety, Compliance & Standards Maintain OSHA, safety, and security standards for all warehouse and yard areas. Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive electronics, electrical components, and high-value items. Support compliance with company documentation, tracking, and disposal requirements. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Proven work experience in warehouse or logistics roles. Strong organization and time-management abilities. Knowledge of warehouse management and inventory best practices. Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Experience with both low-voltage and electrical materials (preferred). Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, ladders, etc.). Ensure all technicians have what they need to be successful in the field. Maintain accurate inventory across all divisions and job types.
