Description

Interior Exterior Building Supply, the number one commercial and residential building material supplier in the Southeast, is searching for a Warehouse Manager for our newest location in Opelika, AL! This position plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the company. Job Responsibilities * Oversee all Operation employees including, Drivers, Helpers, Warehouse Labor and Forklift Operators. * Manage all aspects of the warehouse such as stocking, reordering, inventory, safety. * Ensure the building, trucks, forklifts, and any other equipment is properly maintained. * Complete Safety Orientation with all employees. * Conduct monthly Safety Meetings. * Handle emergencies such as employee accidents or incidents along with all the reporting and follow up that goes with it. * Act as main liaison between the Branch and the Safety Director. * Work closely with Human Resources on all new hires, terminations, corrective action, and personnel changes for all Warehouse employees. Required Skills/Abilities * High School Diploma or GED required. * College degree preferred. * Must have 3 years’ management experience, preferably with a building supply distribution background. * Must have basic mechanical knowledge for maintaining forklifts and trucks – ability to communicate problems to mechanic for resolution when necessary. * Overall knowledge of DOT requirements including knowledge of EDL (electronic driving logs) is required. * Forklift certification is required. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office * Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
