Description VETERANS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY Lonestar Electric Supply and its subsidiaries are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who will supervise warehouse associates and leaders and provide strategic direction to ensure that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and profitably. They will also drive and promote our passion to MAKE IT HAPPEN! Responsibilities: Oversees the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts. Responsible for ensuring safety is first and safety policies and procedures are followed. Recruits, hires and trains new warehouse employees. Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy. Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments. Completes all required management reports. Executes maintenance activities when needed. Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations. Attends and participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings. Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports. Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional supervisory and interpersonal skills. Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures. Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies and procedures. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. At least seven years of related experience in a warehouse setting. Prior supervisory experience required. Ideally 2-5 years. Electrical Supply Distribution experience preferred. Experience with Epicor Eclipse ERP System a plus. Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 40 lbs. may be required infrequently. Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include, heat and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times. Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
