About The Role

Lorna Jane is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our distribution team at the Eagle Farm DC in Brisbane. Reporting to the Global Logistics Manager you'll own the day-to-day running of the warehouse assessing operational workload, deploying the team to where they're needed most, and overseeing every area to keep operations safe, cost-effective and seamless across receipt, storage, retrieval and dispatch.

You'll set the KPI benchmarks that keep us meeting customer demand, holding the team accountable to agreed SLAs and following up quickly when orders miss their timeframes. 

Beyond operations, you'll build a team that takes pride in getting it right and creating a safe and secure warehouse for your team and HQ staff by ensuring your team follows company policy and current WH&S regulations. You will strive for delivering the best-practice vision, strategy and processes that continuously improve how the DC operates.

What You'll Do

• Oversee every area of the warehouse, maintaining high output and seamless operations.
• Set KPI benchmarks and hold the team accountable to agreed SLAs driving performance that meets customer demand and operational efficiency targets.
• Assess operational workload and deploy team members to where they're needed most, managing picking and packing productivity to keep the team working efficiently.
• Identify underperformance early and partner with HR and the Global Logistics Manager to manage it effectively.
• Build and distribute weekly rosters that are cost-efficient and matched to the needs of the business.
• Maintain a safe, secure warehouse by ensuring the team follows company policy and current WH&S regulations.

What You'll Bring 

• Experience working in an omni-channel warehouse/DC environment (Apparel desirable) 
• Experience in inventory control
• Strong supervisory experience and sound knowledge of distribution environments, processes and regulations
• Current forklift licence
• Solid understanding of WH&S practices in a warehouse setting
• Confident with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems / logistics technology
• High attention to detail and strong decision-making skills
