About the role:

  • Leading, supervising and supporting the warehouse team across daily inbound and outbound operations
  • Planning workloads and allocating resources around order volumes, incoming stock and business priorities
  • Ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time
  • Overseeing the receipt, inspection, put-away and storage of incoming goods
  • Maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy and stock integrity
  • Coordinating cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory reconciliation activities
  • Investigating stock discrepancies, damages, picking errors and process issues
  • Ensuring bulky, fragile and high-value products are handled and stored appropriately
  • Maintaining an organised warehouse layout that supports safety, efficiency and effective use of space
  • Monitoring warehouse performance and relevant operational KPIs
  • Coaching and developing team members while driving accountability and performance
  • Managing staffing, attendance and productivity across the warehouse
  • Ensuring warehouse equipment is maintained and fit for purpose
  • Working with freight providers and internal teams to resolve delivery and dispatch issues
  • Maintaining high standards of WHS, safe manual handling and Chain of Responsibility compliance
  • Identifying and implementing practical process and continuous improvement initiatives

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor or similar operational leader
  • Proven experience leading, coaching and developing warehouse teams
  • Strong knowledge across receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing and dispatch
  • Solid inventory control experience, including stocktakes, cycle counts and discrepancy investigation
  • The ability to effectively plan workloads and manage changing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on inventory and order accuracy
  • Confidence using warehouse, inventory or ERP systems
  • Practical problem-solving and continuous improvement skills
  • Sound knowledge of WHS and safe warehouse practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with sales, customer service, purchasing and other internal departments
  • A current forklift licence
