Job Purpose The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, managing logistics partnerships, and ensuring efficient stock management across UK and European operations. This role leads a team of 4 and maintains operational excellence through strategic planning and process optimization. Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient stock management and workflow optimization. Conduct biannual stock checks and maintain accurate inventory systems. Organize and optimize storage space for maximum efficiency, and manage packaging processes, including reordering of warehouse stationery and supplies. Logistics & 3PL Management Manage relationships with external logistics partners worldwide, ensuring service level agreements are met and performance standards maintained. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new logistics partners when required to support business growth and operational needs. European Operations Forecast stock quantities for the French warehouse based on demand analysis and business requirements. Maintain strong relationships with the French warehouse manager to ensure smooth operations, timely deliveries, and alignment with UK operations. Product Management Monitor stock levels across all product lines to ensure availability and prevent stockouts. Track Unique Selling Points (USPs) and product margins to maintain profitability and inform inventory decisions. Analyse product performance and provide recommendations for stock optimization. Team Leadership & Development Provide leadership, supervision, and development opportunities for the Assistant Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Assistant, and Customer Service Team. Train new recruits in warehouse operations and customer service responsibilities. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence within the team. Key Competencies & Skills Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of warehouse and customer service professionals. Logistics & Supply Chain Expertise: Strong understanding of logistics operations, 3PL management, and international supply chain coordination. Relationship Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to maintain strong partnerships with external vendors and key clients. Strategic Planning: Ability to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and optimize warehouse operations for efficiency. Commercial Awareness: Understanding of product margins, profitability metrics, and commercial decision-making. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and implement improvements. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination across departments and with external partners. Qualifications & Experience Experience in warehouse management, or supply chain operations Proven track record of managing teams and developing staff Experience managing 3PL relationships and international logistics operations Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse management software Experience with Shopify (must have) A full driving license with the ability to drive a large manual transmission van (highly desirable) Hands-on mentality: Help out picking & packing if needed Experience in account management or client-facing roles (desirable) Relevant qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Management (desirable) Working Conditions Full-time position based in warehouse environment with office facilities Standard working hours with flexibility required during peak periods Some travel may be required for partner meetings and European warehouse visits The role involves a combination of hands-on warehouse operations and office-based planning/administration Don’t meet every single requirement?
