OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and have a hands on approach to all aspects of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that inventory is properly received, stored, and dispatched efficiently, while maintaining high standards of health and safety, cleanliness, and productivity.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics (minimum 3 years preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Forklift certification (required).
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, inventory management, and dispatch of goods.
  • Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of performance, safety, and accountability.
  • Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage stock control, including cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and customer service departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) as required, ensuring all licenses and inspections are up to date.
  • Analyse productivity data and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of inventory movements and goods in/out using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Liaise with carriers and suppliers to arrange timely deliveries and collections.
