Description 1st Shift 7 AM to 3:30 PM Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan for inbound/outbound material flow strategy including warehousing, minimal inventory control, shipping and receiving, transportation. The operational execution of the plan includes daily logistics operations, inventory accuracy in-house, developing Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Maximizing ingredients and finished goods quality, by assuring that the products received and shipped meet all Tribeca Oven requirements. Creating and cultivating a teamwork environment. Developing, implementing and maintaining warehouse policies and guidelines, to assure a standardization of the function. Ensuring supplier adherence to appointments as well as inbound transfers between company owned facilities. Maximizing cost opportunities Providing timely information on potential shortages. Discussing defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control Personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action. Assuring proper handling, identification and disposition of all items received at warehouse. Handling logistics, inbound and outbound. Establishing inventory controls, internally Establishing a forecast with production of a one-week need, based on sales. Conducting lot tracking and traceability. Color code-allergens. Creating a system for storing and recording stock. Ensuing the quantity and quality of incoming goods are checked. Ensuring that goods are properly packed and delivered. Ensure that inquiries and complaints are expediently handled. Managing loading docks – schedule. Requirements Pick & pack management experience. Ability to create and write procedures - SOPs and GMPs. Strong analytical skills. Developing inventory control such as minimum and maximum stock levels for both raw and finished products Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. Strong problem-solving abilities. Positive can-do attitude. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment. Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment requires flexibility to work various shifts. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) are preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required. Bachelor’s degree in business related study and/or equivalent experience in a food manufacturing environment. Work Environment Production/Manufacturing Warehouse Setting. Regularly works near moving machinery and mechanical parts, sometimes in high places. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, ambient air, temperature extremes, fumes or airborne particles and vibration. Noise levels in the work environment is usually moderate, but occasionally high. Products manufactured in the facility may contain peanuts and tree nuts. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for the duration of the production shift. In addition, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, taste and smell. The employee is infrequently required to sit; climb; balance, stoop, and kneel or crouch. Regularly required to use hands to fingers, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
