JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure efficient distribution processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, including experience with heavy equipment operation and a thorough understanding of shipping and receiving procedures. This role requires leadership skills to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Security clearance or VantageClear certification required.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (ERP/WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with defense industry compliance requirements (ITAR, DFARS, EAR, or equivalent).
• Proven track record of managing inventory, shipping/receiving, and warehouse optimization.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (due to defense contract requirements).
  Our client is seeking experienced professionals (5+ years) and strongly prefers candidates with backgrounds in the defense industry.

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, shipping, and distribution of materials and finished goods.
• Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with defense industry standards, including ITAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safety, security, and efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast material needs and align warehouse operations with project deadlines.
• Oversee handling and storage of sensitive or restricted materials, ensuring compliance with government and contractual obligations.
