Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all warehouse, assembly, service and operational activities across Australia.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, forecasting and stock replenishment to optimise working capital while maintaining high customer service levels.
  • Develop efficient production scheduling and resource planning to achieve delivery commitments.
  • Improve operational processes, productivity and quality through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage freight, logistics and supplier performance to minimise lead times and operating costs.
  • Ensure pumps and assemblies meet quality standards through inspection, testing and documented quality procedures.
  • Support project execution from order receipt through manufacture, assembly, testing and delivery.
  • Work closely with Sales and Applications teams to ensure quotations convert efficiently into successful project delivery.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting for inventory, on-time delivery, service performance, operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Lead, coach and develop warehouse, assembly and operations personnel.
  • Maintain compliance with WHS, environmental and quality management systems.
  • Support ERP (SAP) processes, inventory accuracy and continuous business improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders locally and internationally.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Operations Management within industrial equipment, manufacturing, pumps or rotating equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, warehousing and logistics.
  • Experience leading technical service or assembly operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency and implement process improvements.
  • Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
  • Commercially aware with strong planning and organisational abilities.
  • Engineering or technical trade qualifications highly regarded.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP together with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment
