Key responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, unloading, storage, order picking and dispatch of stone slabs.
• Safely handle and manage stone slabs using forklifts, gantry cranes, jib attachments, slab clamps and A-frame storage systems.
• Uphold and follow WHS procedures, complete risk assessments and address hazards before work proceeds.
• Activate picking and delivery dockets on drivers arrival and also process sales orders to assist operations team when required.
• Manage barcoding, bin transfers and stock locations to ensure physical inventory matches the ERP system.
• Conduct routine stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Coordinate container arrivals, unloading and warehouse space.
• Ensure subcontractors and drivers are inducted and vehicles are compliant for loading.
• Support the Sales Team with sample packing and loading requirements.
• Lead the warehouse team through a practical, hands on approach.

About you

• A minimum of five years' warehouse management experience.
• Experience in stone, surfaces or construction materials is highly desirable.
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• A current forklift licence.
• Proven experience with slab clamps, jib attachments and A-frame or slab rack storage.
• Previous gantry crane experience will be well regarded.
• Sound knowledge of WHS compliance, manual handling and safe work procedures.
• Experience with ERP or WMS inventory systems.
• The ability to work independently and lead respectfully.
