Description Position Overview: Ster Seating is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing and assembly environment. This role is critical to ensuring inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving efficiency, schedule compliance, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. The Warehouse Manager will lead a dedicated team while working cross-functionally to support production goals. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintain precise inventory records using ERP systems; conduct regular cycle counts; identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure high levels of inventory accuracy. Shipping & Receiving Oversight: Direct and coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely and accurate receiving, inspection, and shipment of goods. Schedule Compliance: Support production planning by ensuring material availability aligns with manufacturing schedules; collaborate with production and procurement to meet operational timelines. ERP System Utilization: Operate within an ERP environment (Syteline experience strongly preferred) to manage inventory, track shipments, and generate performance reports. Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily warehouse activities including layout optimization, material handling, storage practices, and space utilization to support production flow. Leadership & Team Development: Manage, coach, and develop a team of warehouse personnel; foster a positive work environment with a focus on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols; ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies; conduct regular safety training and audits. Process & Quality Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and lead process improvements to enhance warehouse performance; uphold quality assurance standards throughout warehouse operations. Documentation & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required shipping, receiving and inventory documents; generate and analyze reports to monitor KPIs. Requirements Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience (5+ years) in warehouse management within a manufacturing or assembly environment. Strong understanding of logistics, inventory control, and material flow processes. Proficiency in ERP systems; experience with Syteline highly desirable. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate teams. Solid understanding of safety regulations and warehouse best practices. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
