We are looking for a Warehouse Manager who leads from the front, knows how a trade operation ticks, and takes real pride in keeping things running smoothly. This is a newly created role, which means you'll have the opportunity to put your own stamp on how things are done, lead a dynamic team, and play a key part in the continued growth of the business. About the Role Manage day-to-day operations of the Auckland warehouse, servicing bulk stock across all branches nationwide Ensure products are ready for installers and trade customers ahead of collection Lead and develop two direct reports, maintaining a capable and cohesive warehouse team Build and maintain strong relationships with branches, project managers, builders, and internal teams via email, phone, and face-to-face Execute regular and full quarterly stock takes across a 1,500–2,500 SKU hardware inventory Ensure all stock movements are captured in the ERP Skills and Experience Proven leadership experience in a warehouse, store, or trade supply environment - background in hardware, construction, or building materials highly regarded Strong administration skills with hands-on ERP experience - Microsoft Business Central / Dynamics 365 preferred Confident, clear communicator - able to build rapport with site teams, project managers, builders, and internal stakeholders Solid grasp of job stock and WIP management in a construction or trade context Health and Safety awareness and a practical, hands-on approach to warehouse operations and hold a current forklift license Benefits Join a well-established, respected name in New Zealand's construction hardware industry Genuine opportunity to shape this newly created role and make it your own Lead a tight-knit, experienced team in a collaborative, high-trust environment Varied role balancing hands-on warehouse management with meaningful administration and stakeholder responsibility Be part of a business that values craft, quality, and long-term client relationships Apply online now if you are someone who knows that great communication and ownership are what set a great leader apart.
