REQUIREMENTS

Must have strong knowledge of chemical and warehouse operations and
organizational skills. Must be able to communicate effectively. Previous commodity
and team management experience preferred. Position classified as a Safety
Sensitive Position: therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-op’s Alcohol & Substance
policy as a condition of employment. Must be able to work a variety of shifts
including weekends and extended hours. Must be able to stand for extended periods
of time and perform heavy lifting

Responsibilities

As the Warehouse Manager at the Agronomy Centre, reporting to the Crop Supply
Manager you will be expected to provide operational excellence and be

accountable to:

  • Oversee the warehouse facility, including inventory control, management

and participation in the audit process as required.

  • Manage the warehouse team of staff (6-7 team members), including

training/ development, performance management and scheduling/

attending to time management of staff.

  • Assists Crop Supply Manager and Assistant Crop Supply Manager with

inventory procurement.

  • Be responsible for the coordination and hands-on execution of operational

duties; including customer service and support, receiving, storing, and

filling requisitions/ work orders from customers/ applicators.

  • Coordinating loading of product on trucks for delivery to branches and

producers and working closely with delivery drivers.

  • Responsible for operating forklift for extended periods of time and

maintaining the facility and grounds to meet CPIC standards.

  • Ensuring efficient and safe processes are exercised by the team at all

times.
