POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Industrial Power Solutions is seeking a reliable, technically, and mechanically inclined Warehouse Material Handler to join our team. We are looking for someone who is not only responsible, trustworthy, and hardworking but also has a strong aptitude for technical and mechanical tasks. We have a warehouse located in Tempe, AZ where we maintain our Electrical storage, and fabricate metal material. Expectations for this role involves handling equipment, using company vehicles, moving and delivering materials, maintaining a safe clean environment, and working on projects throughout the property. We require someone with the ability to problem-solve, knows there away around tools, and enjoys being apart of a team.
This position requires a lot of time on construction sites doing manual labor tasks. You must be okay with working in the Arizona heat. When you’re not on deliveries, you’ll be working in locations with little A/C, and or outside in direct sunlight.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and hand trucks.
  • Mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of warehouse machinery and tools.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials, up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
  • Comfortable working in varying environments, including outdoors, in warehouses, and around machinery.
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and tools safely.
Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring that all materials are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Label and store materials in appropriate locations, maintaining an organized and efficient inventory.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, and other mechanical tools.
  • Use company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts from vendors to job sites.
