Responsibilities As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will work in a dynamic warehouse environment serving mining industry clients. Your main duties will include receiving and shipping large, critical mining units, as well as ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in daily parts distribution. You will play an important role in supporting the leadership team and helping maintain our commitment to excellent customer service. Major Responsibilities Operate forklifts to handle various weight capacities (12,000lbs and under) Loading and unloading product from trucks or containers Pick and pack mining parts with accuracy Provide support with labour tasks as necessary Support inventory control (inbound/outbound/on ground) and accurately document Ability to prepare load plans for truck and/or container Complying with all rules and regulations, protocols and established metrics Follow all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations, participate in identifying hazards Ability to understand cross training on all functions at facility Inspect and verify product condition to ensure cleanliness and compliance with loading procedures Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency Accurately weigh and document materials Provide production data on tags or labels Provide internal and external Customer Service excellence May be asked to travel to other transload terminals to assist if necessary Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager You Possess 1-2 years of warehouse experience is required Grade 12 or GED required Previous Forklift experience (up to5000 lbs capacity) is an asset Previous experience with Parts Distribution is an asset Experience working with computers an asset Demonstrates strong communication skills both verbally and written Experience with routine maintenance operations Strong safety mindset Quality oriented Needs to be responsible, accountable and dependable Strong work ethic and positive team attitude Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment Strong attention to detail Experience working with computers an asset Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule Good physical condition Can carry at least 50 lbs
