Position Overview The Warehouse Associate supports day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring materials and products are accurately received, stored, and shipped. This role is critical to efficient order fulfillment, operational reliability, and on-time customer delivery. Shift Schedule: • 2nd Shift: 3:15 PM – 11:45 PM • Consistent M-F weekday hours • Ideal for candidates seeking evenings instead of early mornings Primary Responsibilities Receive and process incoming stock, including unloading, inspection, and documentation Store materials in designated locations, maintaining organization and accessibility Pick, pack, wrap, label, and prepare customer orders according to shipping schedules Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively Perform inventory controls, cycle counts, and audits to ensure accuracy Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Report damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety concerns promptly Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Why 2nd Shift at Spectra Precision? Familiarity with warehouse practices, methods, and safety standards. Proficiency with warehouse management systems, databases, or inventory software. Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely. Valid forklift license or ability to obtain certification within designated timeframe. Desired Knowledge, Skills & Experience Experience working in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with Lean or 5S practices for warehouse organization and efficiency. Knowledge of ERP or advanced warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Experience with international shipping and customs documentation. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
