POSITION OVERVIEW:

Rideau Supply is currently seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our Stratford Warehouse team. This role involves key warehouse functions such as picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring the warehouse operates in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.
However, this is more than just a warehouse position. The ideal candidate will be someone looking to grow within the company. This role offers a clear development path into a Continuous Improvement position, where you will gain the knowledge and experience needed to help lead operations across multiple locations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work at other locations as needed
  • Interest in operations, logistics, and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills for working with team members, drivers, and customers
  • Forklift experience or certification (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, inspect, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Reject damaged goods and ensure proper documentation is completed
  • Load and unload materials using lifting devices such as forklifts and hoists
  • Secure loads in compliance with all safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Tag, label, and store inventory in correct locations
  • Compile, verify, and process shipping/receiving paperwork
  • Report inventory discrepancies to warehouse management
  • Provide feedback on operational, mechanical, or delivery issues
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety procedures and use appropriate PPE
  • Learn and assist with building delivery routes and managing drivers using Samsara
  • Interact professionally with customers to resolve issues or coordinate deliveries
