Position Purpose: Warehouse Operations & Leadership Lead and manage all warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, inventory control, and shipping Uphold the highest safety standards in alignment with the P&H Safety Action Plan Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse team members; provide performance feedback and training Ensure products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time using established systems and procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely when required Inventory & Systems Management Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, stock rotation, and discrepancy resolution Monitor purchase orders, transfers, and receiving activity to ensure timely and accurate processing Work with the Branch Manager to research inventory variances and manage RTVs Use barcode scanning systems and warehouse technology to maintain data accuracy Process Improvement & Operational Excellence Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, workflows, and space utilization Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and error reduction Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies to warehouse operations Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities Support change management initiatives to ensure adoption of new processes and tools Customer & Cross-Functional Support Partner with branch leadership to support customer service goals and branch profitability Interact with customers as needed to ensure satisfaction and resolve operational issues Collaborate with other departments to support smooth branch operations Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience. Requirements Experience, Education & Skills: 3+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or operations leadership Demonstrated experience improving operational processes, workflows, or efficiency Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement training or certification preferred Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills Experience with inventory management systems, ERP/WMS platforms, and warehouse technology Results-driven with strong problem-solving and analytical skills High school diploma or GED required; additional education a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands and fingers for warehouse and computer work Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed Moderate physical activity in a warehouse environment
