Their busy Sales Office is supported by a warehouse holding over 1M square feet of leather. They are proud of their supportive team culture, where loyalty and hard work are recognised and rewarded.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full UK driving licence is desired
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word experience is a plus)
  • Previous warehouse experience is a bonus but not required
  • Forklift truck licence is advantageous, but training can be provided

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to start their career in warehousing and logistics. As an Apprentice Warehouse Operative, you’ll learn all aspects of warehouse operations, including:

  • Preparing and parcelling goods for despatch
  • Creating address and product labels using Microsoft Word
  • Communicating with the Sales Office team
  • Completing and updating carrier paperwork and systems
  • Receiving, unpacking, and checking incoming goods
  • Assisting with goods deliveries using the company van (depending on candidate age/drivers licence status)
  • Taking part in annual stock checks
  • Basic forklift operation (training provided depending on age)
  • Picking orders by priority and updating associated paperwork
