Responsibilities

This role involves working in a busy, fast-paced warehouse with a diverse and hardworking team to ensure that all goods are received, processed and dispatched efficiently. The main responsibilities of the role include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders.

  • Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (this includes loading, packing, wrapping products, labelling and shipping)
  • Receiving and processing warehouse stock products, using scanners and manual handling aids
  • Repackaging stock to specific customer requirements
  • Performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
  • Keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimising space utilisation
  • Reporting any discrepancies
  • Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and colleagues
  • Operating and maintaining warehouse equipment
  • Following quality service standards and complying with procedures, rules and H&S regulations
  • Proven work experience within a warehouse environment
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Self-motivated, disciplined and reliable
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to complete tasks to a high standard
  • The ability to adapt to working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
  • The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Good level of physical fitness (this role requires heavy lifting and manual handling)
  • The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Numerate and literate, with excellent communication skills in English
