REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Forklift licence or qualification welcome but not essential.
• Experience in driving a forklift in a safe manner in a busy warehouse.
• Strong communication skills and people focus.
• Enthusiastic with ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
• Good IT / computer skills.

THE ROLE:

Working as part of the Stores Team in the factory to pick, wrap and stage customer orders as per the agreed shipping schedule.
Warehouse Operators/Forklift Drivers working hours are 5am – 1pm / 1pm – 9pm/ 9pm – 5am

DUTIES:

• Drive the forklift in a responsible manner at all times.
• Pick, wrap, and stage customer orders as per agreed shipping schedules.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance routine of the warehouse and dispatch area following all hygiene procedures on site.
• Locate and transport bulk cheese and finished product to and from packing lines.
• Loading and unloading of trucks.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, assisting with issues and queries.
• Identifying workplace safety hazards.
• Adhering to Health and safety standards.
• Undertake all other duties as directed by the supervisor/lead supervisor.
