Description

Here at Americold, we are recruiting for multiple Warehouse Operatives (Forklift / General Operative) based at our Spalding site. This role is based within our Blast Freeze section, where you’ll be responsible for a mix of general operative and forklift duties in a temperature-controlled environment. Key Responsibilities * Loading and unloading trucks as required * Transferring pallets from loading bays to designated storage areas * Operating within the Blast Freeze area, ensuring product integrity is maintained at all times * Receiving and dispatching pallets via Warehouse Management System (WMS) using handheld scanners * Following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) * Carrying out general warehouse duties, including manual handling and product handling * Supporting packing and preparation of products for distribution * Adhering strictly to HACCP food safety standards and company procedures * Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times Essential Criteria * Previous experience within a warehouse or manufacturing environment * Good attention to detail * Ability to work well as part of a team * Ability to remain calm under pressure * Flexible approach and willingness to adapt * Good communication skills Desirable * Forklift licence (desirable but not essential – training can be provided) Working Hours * 7:00am – 5:00pm * 4 on, 2 off rotation
