MSA Foams Ltd, a leading specialist in foam conversion, is seeking a dedicated Block Cleaner to join our Production team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment, ensuring product quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Use the tools provided to clean prepared foam blocks for finishing.
• Keep production equipment clean, including foam blocks.
• Sweep floors and remove any debris or spills.
• Empty and clean rubbish bins and recycling containers.
• Carry out deep cleaning of the production area, including walls, ceilings, and ventilation systems.
• Keep work areas and the factory floor clean and free from hazardous materials.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and free from obstructions.
• Store goods and raw materials safely in the factory or warehouse, which may involve operating lifting equipment.
• Inform Supervisors of faulty machinery or production issues.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly spot errors.
• Good teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively with others.
• Practical, hands-on approach and ability to work with tools.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards and procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage your own workload.
