SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Good numeric ability and excellent attention to detail
  • Team worker with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels in and outside the company
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
  • Ability to multi-task, skill in establishing priorities and managing workloads
  • Excellent customer relationship skills with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to be flexible and to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations or individuals
  • Basic IT skills in excel/word/outlook desirable
  • Forklift License desirable
  • Clean drivers’ license essential
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This role is responsible for efficiently receiving, handling, storing, packing and rotating stock and ensuring that Brennan Co customers get the products they ordered, on time and in perfect condition.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for receiving and inspecting deliveries and ensuring that safe unloading procedures are followed
  • Ensure that incoming materials are consistent with the accompanying paperwork, are in good condition and are stored and stacked according to product storage requirements and company procedures
  • Ensure returned stock is received and receipted in accordance with procedures
  • Pick, count, assemble and pack orders ensuring that stock is in good condition and that the order is consistent with the accompanying paperwork
  • Check lot numbers and expiry dates on stock in accordance with procedures and ensure appropriate rotation
  • Compile monthly expiring and expired stock checklists
  • Stock taking and stock control
  • Complete daily/weekly temperature checks in accordance with agreed procedures
  • Monitor and log return of grey crates
  • Work in accordance with company policies and procedures ensuring quality standards are adhered to
  • Keep a safe, tidy and clean place of work for warehouse personnel, other employees and visitors
  • Operate the forklift in accordance with agreed procedures
  • Assist drivers with loading the vans for deliveries as required
  • Provide day to day support to Operations Manager
  • Act as relief driver as required
  • Other ad-hoc duties, projects and assignments as needed or directed
