JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operatives to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse by supporting all aspects of goods handling, stock management, and order preparation. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work responsibly in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 30 hours per week availability
• Must pass a DBS check
• Physically fit and able to handle regular lifting and manual handling tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to take responsibility for tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Team player with the ability to work independently when required

• Receive, check, and put away deliveries accurately
• Carry out stock rotation, date checks, and inventory counts
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using warehouse systems and scanners
• Assist cash & carry customers with billing and service
• Load vans and support dispatch operations
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet trucks (training provided if needed)
• Handle heavy lifting and materials safely (up to 50 lbs / 25 kg)
• Support shipping & receiving operations, ensuring accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing goods
• Maintain organisation in the warehouse, ensuring correct storage and safe stacking of products
• Conduct basic equipment checks and report any faults or hazards
• Follow food safety, health & safety, and company procedures at all times
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve workflow and efficiency
