REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a warehouse, ideally in a food or FMCG environment
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (HACCP awareness desirable)
• Physically fit and able to lift and move goods as required
• Basic computer skills for handheld scanners.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Forklift or pallet truck license is desirable but not essential.
• Good team player with strong communication skills.
• Flexible and reliable with a can-do attitude.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Goods In person to join our Warehouse team. You will be responsible for receiving and checking incoming deliveries, ensuring food products are handled and stored in line with food safety standards. This is a key role to help maintain accurate stock levels and support efficient warehouse operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, inspect, and sign for incoming goods and deliveries
• Inspect goods for damage or non-conformance and report discrepancies
• Accurately log received goods into the stock system
• Ensure all food goods are handled and stored according to hygiene and temperature guidelines
• Assist in unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
• Move stock to designated storage areas using manual handling or MHE (e.g., pallet truck)
• When required carry out Replenishment of pick faces in the three chambers of the Warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised Goods In area
• Work closely with the Warehouse Team and Stock Control
• Comply with all health & safety and food safety regulations
