OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker/relief delivery driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. The role also includes delivery driving where required, ensuring high driving and customer service standards to protect and enhance our proud brand. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS

  • Experience of delivery driving is preferred.
  • Experience with stock control processes is essential.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will be beneficial.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts safely would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving protocols is important for this position.
  • Experience with loading and unloading goods effectively is necessary.

  • Part time delivery driving, with flexibility to change shifts at short notice
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to load and unload goods safely. .
  • Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies as needed.
