Description

We’re looking for an upbeat, flexible warehouse operative / driver to join our Warehouse Operations Team at our Electrical Distribution business in our brand new premises near Hallen, Bristol. Reporting into the Warehouse Manager the successful applicant will spend their time between warehouse work and driving one of our LWB Sprinter vans, delivering to trade account customers.

Driving duties include:

  • Planning route around specified area ahead of departure.
  • Loading and unloading of vans.
  • Delivering and collecting goods as per paperwork.
  • Managing time effectively throughout the day.
  • Upholding a professional and positive manner around customers.
  • Communicating any issues or delays to sales office staff.

Warehouse Operative duties include:

  • Assisting with the unloading and loading of vehicles and the checking in of stock.
  • Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.
  • Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
  • Carry out warehouse prep work ahead of annual stock-take.
  • To closely follow H&S guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.

This role best suits an upbeat and self-motivated individual who enjoy working systematically and productively. It is important to ensure that you have a moderate level of fitness to enable you to comfortably carry out your tasks.

From our Bristol Profit Centre we cover a large area, spanning from West Wales to the coast of Dorset, supplying goods next day on our own vehicles to trade account holders. Shift Pattern:
08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
Annual Leave:
25 days plus Bank Holidays
