JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to stock management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is essential.
• Fork lift truck driving experience.
• Full driving licence as Fork lift trucks are driven on a public highways.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Computer confident

Work Location: In perso

• Locating products in the warehouse
• Using the systems to create shipments via the hand held device and barcode scanning
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Checking items to be shipped against despatch notes
• Ensure shipments are correctly labelled
• Placing product in the correct location
• To ensure warehouse inventory is rotated first in first out (FIFO)
• Ensuring shipments are correctly packaged
• Making cartons and packing products
• Creating pallet specifications
• Creating paperwork for freight forwarding
• Liaising with other departments in Glenrothes, Penryn(A&H) and Begbroke (SSL).
• To aid Audiotonix Group warehousing & despatch when required
