As the Warehouse Operative/Driver, you will be working with our warehousing team to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods between our sites (both of which are in Middlesbrough). You will essentially hold a Class 2 licence, desirably Class 1, and will help support our teams at both sites with loading and unloading of vehicles, as well as some regional deliveries, in line with our procedures.
You will work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work requested as needed and with prior notice. In return, you can expect to receive a salary of £30K, in a role where no two days are the same.

• Moving food ingredients safely and efficiently between 2 sites
• Ensuring a safe, clean, and tidy working environment, including in-vehicle, adhering to hygiene standards, procedures and our “clean as you go” policy
• Completion of all food safety and transport documentation as required on every shift.
• Responsible for carrying out daily and weekly vehicle maintenance checks
• When required, assist with deliveries to other depots or customers
• Completion of vehicle checks prior to any journey and reporting vehicle defects
• Return empty basket and pallet equipment on each journey and unload into storage area prior to cleaning vehicle
• Refuelling of vehicles
• Yard maintenance
