QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse logistics, inventory management, and order processing.
  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with relevant software and systems.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills to optimise warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

At Unify, we’re dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our customers. As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be a crucial part of our operations team, ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of orders and maintaining the highest standards in warehouse management.

  • Work as part of the warehouse ecommerce returns team, processing customer returns efficiently and accurately, ensuring they are put back in stock correctly.
  • Ensure returned products are inspected, recorded, handled and dispatched accurately and efficiently in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Hold a clean driving licence and operate company vans as required to support warehouse operations.
  • Pick and pack orders for customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare goods for dispatch, including proper packaging and labelling.
  • Unload containers daily during busy periods.
  • Participate in regular stocktakes to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Support the implementation of warehouse logistics, including organising and locating products for streamlined operations.
  • Contribute to maximising warehouse efficiency by actively engaging in the development and implementation of processes.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and communicate clearly to ensure seamless operations.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for each customer, ensuring compliance with their specific requirements.
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve operational goals and targets.
  • Collaborate with your team and the Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
  • Follow and promote health and safety practices within the warehouse.
