Working Hours: 40hrs per week ( Sunday- Thurs or Mon-Fri day shift)

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Warehouse Operative, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. You will be responsible for handling goods, managing stock, and ensuring orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. This is a physically demanding role that involves manual handling, lifting, and moving stock of varying weights. You will also work across different temperature controlled environments, including ambient, chilled, and frozen areas, to maintain the quality and safety of our products. No two days are the same – one day, you could be unloading deliveries, and the next, picking and packing items ready for dispatch. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive approach to working in a fast paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, stacking, and moving goods safely.
  • Work across different temperature zones, including chilled and frozen areas.
  • Receive, check, and store incoming stock safely and efficiently.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch to customers.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (if licensed).
  • Maintain accurate stock records and assist with inventory checks.
  • ·Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety regulations.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring they are handled with care.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet deadlines.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to maintain high operational standards.
