Description

We are currently recruiting a full time Raw Material Intake Operator/Warehouse Operative for our client site in Dublin 8. A bulk raw materials intake job involves managing the receipt, storage, and preparation of large quantities of raw materials for production, ensuring a smooth flow of materials to meet production demands.

This role involves a Shift Pattern:

  • 6 am – 2pm
  • 10 am – 7pm
  • Saturday / Sunday 6am -2pm

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Forklift License or Experience: Operating material handling equipment.
  • Inventory Management Skills: Tracking and managing stock levels.
  • Quality Control Experience: Performing inspections and ensuring materials meet standards.
  • Communication and Coordination Skills: Working effectively with different teams and suppliers.
  • Physical Fitnessand Manual Dexterity: For handling materials and operating equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office in particular Excel
  • Excellent Communication Skills both verbal and written
  • Fluency in English essential and must be confident in dealing with clients and vendors

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receiving and Unloading: Managing the intake of raw materials, including unloading from trucks or other transportation methods, and ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of raw material inventory, tracking usage, and ensuring adequate stock levels to support production.
  • Quality Control: Performing inspections of incoming materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Material Handling: Operating equipment like forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and store raw materials.
  • Coordination: Working with suppliers, production teams, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues related to raw material supply.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of material intake, quality control checks, and inventory levels.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and procedures.
