Your Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Warehouse Operative with forklift truck experience to join our team in Irvine. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a vital part in the overall logistics and operation of the warehouse. You will be responsible for the receipt, processing, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods, whilst adhering to strict compliance with all appropriate regulatory standards.
Following a training period on day shift, this role will transition to a rotating shift pattern.
We are particularly interested in candidates with valid or recently expired Counterbalance or Reach Forklift Truck licences. Refresher training can be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift trucks to safely load, unload, and move materials across the warehouse and yard areas.
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming chemical goods in compliance with company and regulatory procedures.
  • Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and proper labelling in line with customer and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct stock checks using warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP).
  • Follow all site-specific safety protocols, including the handling and storage of hazardous materials (e.g. COSHH requirements).
  • Ensure all containers are correctly sealed, labelled, and stored.
  • Support warehouse housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, organised, and hazard-free working environment.

Who You Are:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
  • Experience operating a Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift truck is essential – refresher courses are available for expired licences.
  • A current UK Drivers Licence is essential.
  • Experience working within a cGMP or regulated environment would be desirable.
  • Familiarity with a computerised stock control system, and prior experience using SAP, would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow process-driven tasks accurately.
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills.
