Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

Play an active role in the Warehouse Operations team to ensure timely fulfilment of orders – printing customer orders, picking items and packing them safely, in readiness for shipment. Work with the Warehouse supervisor to coordinate receipting and unloading of new stock deliveries and ensure all storage locations and shipping stations are working optimally and kept in good order.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily monitoring of incoming orders to ensure deadlines are met and shipments are tracked, in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor – includes printing orders, collating stock from the picking area and packing it appropriately so it arrives safely with the customer upon dispatch.
  • Maintain all storage facilities (warehouse, picking area, external temporary storage) to ensure goods are stored safely, and workspaces are kept clean and tidy.
  • Work with local courier companies to ensure timely collection of goods, ensuring all labelling and documentation is in place ahead of periodic pick ups.
  • Act as a point contact for large deliveries and ensure safe unloading and storage of palletized goods, and ensure products are accounted for.
  • Ensure stock rotation between the warehouse and picking areas is completed regularly
  • Assisting the MD, Sales Director and Shipping & Logistics Manager with adhoc duties as needed relating to stock.
