Description

OVERVIEW

Conducting all Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) training in line with current legislation and licence requirements. This will equate 10% of the working contract.

Pick, pack, store and load company products to ensure deliveries are both on time and in full. Support team wherever possible to ensure production runs smoothly and safely. Provide cover with other shifts for sickness / training. The shift pattern for this role is a 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 06:00 start.

  • Duties
  • Conducting all Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) training in line with current legislation and licence requirements. (Mainly counterbalance Trucks.)
  • Competent operation of the warehouse WMS computer system.
  • Accurate & safe loading of vehicles
  • Complete pick tasks to meet customer orders, communicating any issues to the Warehouse Team Leader.
  • Achieve, maintain & raise hygiene standards.
  • Complete all required food safety and quality documentation.
  • Carry out other tasks as requested by the Warehouse Team Leader
  • Maintain and raise standards of pallet presentation.
  • Work on own initiative to ensure timely dispatch of loads.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in an MHE training capacity.
  • Food manufacturing and production processes
  • Good organisational skills
  • Computer literate and WMS proficient ideally D365
  • Basic Food hygiene
