REQUIREMENTS

  • Familiar working in a goods in goods out environment with excellent attention to detail when handling paperwork and monitoring stock levels.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive parts and goods from external processing and put away into correct storage locations. Receipt paperwork and book in stock parts checking qty and quality conformance.
  • Monitor the quality of stock parts through regular cycle counts and work with procurement to ensure orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Load outgoing work to transport haulers and check quantity and quality of packaging to ensure all products get to our customers safely.
  • Complete scheduled work - Ensure that you complete the scheduled work on time and in full. This work may include fabrication, assembly, and packing.
  • Health and safety - Maintain a safe working environment and ensure you follow regulations and procedures. Anything unsafe that you are not able to resolve must be reported. Monitor FLT and racking safety and report any issues. Responsible to make sure that you are wearing the correct PPE.
  • Maintenance - Complete maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment and report any faults that can’t be resolved.
  • Reporting - Daily reporting on cell KPIs. Reporting of health and safety issues or non-conformances.
  • Continuous Improvement and cell development
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions.
  • Help with SOP documentation

  • QA/QC:

  • Check delivered items for damage, and conformity to purchase specifications - quantity, correctness of item received as per delivery note/packing list.
  • Quarantine non-conforming items and promptly raise a non-conformance report.
  • Inspect outgoing items to confirm they match order specifications (item, quantity, etc.) and are free from visible defects or damage.
  • Ensure products are packaged properly to maintain quality during transit.

There may be additional duties to the above.

On premises - This role required full time presence on premises.

  • 40 hour week, 8 hour / day
  • 7am to 4pm, unpaid break of 60 mins. These normal work hours may be varied by mutual agreement to meet operational requirements of the company
