Responsibilities:

Working location is close to Heathrow airport.
Working on a 4 on 2 off rotating shift basis.
37.5 hours per week.
Earliest Star 6.00am latest finish 11.00pm
The Dispatcher will be responsible for meeting daily order targets set by the Logistics Manager, adhering to CAA regulations and ensuring that all orders are fulfilled by production.
They will also assist the logistics manager to ensure that the staff are trained and comply to company SSOW whilst advising customers of order deliveries by sharing delivery trackers
You will also check stock levels, reporting any deficiencies to the logistics manager and both maintain and update the stock report throughout the shift.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Work within the team to load and dispatch the product (In-Flight-Supplies) on time.
  • To maintain Health and Safety standards in the workplace.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.
  • Ensure that the security sheets are completed correctly
  • To ensure that all document checks are carried out before dispatching products
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure that products required are available, and prioritise accordingly
  • Ensure housekeeping is always kept to a high standard
  • To ensure strict compliance with all security processes as required by the Civil Aviation Authority and the site security programme
  • To ensure all stock is moved into despatch with the 8.1 completed
  • To ensure all broken equipment is tagged and reported
  • To carry out adhoc tasks as and when required

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Preferred experience in similar role ideally within Laundry and Warehouse
  • Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
  • Demonstrates drive and resilience. Open and innovative when working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Decisive and collaborative in equal measures.
