OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling of goods. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in loading, unloading, and stock management techniques.
  • Experience operating forklifts is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of AS400 systems is beneficial but not essential.
  • Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
  • Excellent materials handling skills with attention to detail in picking and packing processes.

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials as needed.
  • Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
  • Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly documented.
  • Engage in heavy lifting and materials handling as required, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Participate in picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
