This is a hands-on role, requiring the successful candidate to be fit, enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated. You will be joining a well-established company in a fast-paced working environment where a keen eye for detail is essential. You will be working in a clean and modern working environment with an experienced and long-standing team. It is a very varied and rewarding role, in amongst Teams who thrive on working hard and maintaining a sense of humour!

The role entails:

• Processing, picking, packing and dispatching of orders.
• Using a high level of accuracy and precision, ensuring goods inwards and delivery notes are correct.
• Using stock control and external shipping software systems to process, ship and update orders.
• Manual handling of stock – some heavy lifting.
• Conducting stock counts and inventory checks
• Ensuring a clean and well maintained working environment.
• Ensuring customers only receive the highest quality of parcels.

The skills that the successful candidate requires include:

• An ability to work with speed and accuracy.
• An excellent work ethic – motivated, flexible and fun.
• Must be computer literate - essential use of Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills both verbal and online, with an ability to liaise with all departments of the business and our service providers.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but not a necessity, this is small parcel processing and not large scale warehouse dispatch. There would be a three months’ probation period where training would be given to achieve the required level of knowledge. References will be required.
