WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE – ORDER PICKER / PACKER

Mainline Menswear Ltd are a leading online retailer of men’s designer clothing in the UK. Based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. We carry over 100 different brands of clothing including Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss and Vivienne Westwood. We are currently looking for a hardworking, friendly individual who can work as part of a team ensuring efficient, safe and accurate handling of stock.

· Check the quality of the items that are being dispatched including taking the time to repackage poorly presented items.
· Assist dispatch of orders ensuring all items are scanned and placed into the correct size packaging, sealed and stickered correctly.
· Undertake Stock checks as and when required.
· Folding and returning photography stock to it’s rightful location in the warehouse
· Assist in relocating returned items.
· Replace any damaged storage boxes as required.
· Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse at all times.
· Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
Physical Demands of the Role:
The role involves the following physical demands on a daily basis:
· Standing and/or walking for long periods of 8 hours per shift (standard full-time shifts are 8 hours excluding overtime.
· Lifting and moving products of heavy weight
· Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching, and/or stretching for 8 hours per shift
· Manual dexterity of both hands and wrists
· Regularly climbing and descending flights of stairs safely / ladders safely.
