OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by engaging in various tasks related to materials handling, shipping and receiving, and inventory management. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with materials handling techniques is advantageous.
  • Experience operating forklifts and knowledge of safety regulations is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control practices.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift.
  • Good mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
  • Operate forklifts and other machinery as required for loading and unloading goods.
  • Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock.
  • Participate in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch.
  • Engage in picking and packing orders according to customer specifications.
  • Maintain organisation within the warehouse by stocking shelves and ensuring products are stored correctly.
  • Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Perform mechanical tasks as needed, including basic maintenance of equipment.
  • Assist with heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
