OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that materials are handled correctly and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina and a keen attention to detail, as you will be responsible for various tasks related to stock management and logistics.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in materials handling techniques and stock management practices.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance is beneficial.
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities
  • Handle materials with care, ensuring safe and efficient movement throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring that all items are accounted for and stored correctly.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels by performing regular inventory checks and updates using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, organised, and efficient working environment.
  • Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with warehouse equipment.
