RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, unload, and inspect all goods in accordance with established procedures
• Arrange samples of incoming goods for QC department
• Inspect and load outgoing finished goods on to carriers vehicles in accordance with established procedures
• Check incoming goods against order details and inform Purchasing of any disagreements
• Ensure correct labelling of all materials / deliveries
• Record vehicle and product temperature for all chilled / frozen deliveries and despatch
• Wrap finished product pallets and load on outbound trailer

ONGOING RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain required standards of cleanliness, hygiene and H&S. Records kept and procedures followed
• Operate Fork lift truck. Keep batteries charged and top up with distilled water. Keep fork lift truck clean
• Distribute other goods to relevant departments
• Provide Banksman assistance to reversing vehicles
